Although Henrico County Public Schools is known for quality education and has been recognized nationally for innovative technology, there are other goals that we need to achieve. Withstanding our strengths in the Varina District are challenges that include overcrowding, under-performing schools, and an achievement gap that has an overall affect on our students.
Having worked in the criminal justice field and education, I know the importance of building a solid foundation and thirst for knowledge. I have seen first hand the problems of children who drop out of the educational system into the system.
I am asking for your support! Let me bring my experience as a criminal justice practitioner, educator and public policy executive assistant to the Henrico School Board to form partnerships for change.
